It's so great to be back at school again. As much as I appreciate a 6 week Christmas break, it tends to drag out towards the end. After awhile I am just ready to get back and have a routine again. But I do always love my time at home. During this break in Omaha, we received the most snow I think I have ever seen in my life. If only I was in high school again I would have had 5 snow days! The snow just kept coming and coming. It was really pretty but pretty dangerous on the road.
Another highlight is that the Huskers won the Holiday Bowl over Arizona. Okay, they didn't just win the bowl game they destroyed AZ and posted a shutout for the first time in NE bowl game history. Gotta lo
ve being a Nebraska fan right now. But besides watching a lot of bowl games, I mostly enjoyed spending time with my niece! Ella is only nine and a half months and she is walking! She is so funny. I just can't even believe it. That was one reason I did not want to come back to school because she is just in such a cute stage of her life! But she is coming down to visit me for my birthday soon and I can't wait!I really am looking forward to this semester. It is going to be more challenging for me in school this semester because I am taking a couple classes that I have been putting off! I am taking 17 hours and have spring soccer coming up, so I feel that things are going to start to pick up in the next few weeks. I am just excited for spring in general because it is my favorite season. I love when it starts to get warm again and its fun to be outside. I can hardly wait!
